ZeroLandfill Seattle Wins
Congratulations to the core team of ZeroLandfill Seattle! They were recognized by their local interior design organization, ASID. They were nominated and won the Community Service award which best exemplifies the spirit of bringing design to life in the service of others.
As they prepare for their event this weekend, the Seattle Times, published this article. In it, ZeroLandfill is described as
an “upcycling” program that aims to help reduce waste and increase re-purposing. At an event Saturday, the general public can browse piles of glass, wood, tile, carpet and laminate samples, donated by the construction industry, and take what they’d like, for free.
If you are artist, educator, crafter, homeschooler or other creative type, stop by their Harvest event on Saturday, October 6 from 12 -7pm at 1931 2nd Avenue, Suite 500, Seattle.
