Learning opportunities in Cleveland
There are two opportunities this fall to expand your knowledge and idea bank with ZeroLandfill™ materials.
The first is on Friday, October 14. We are participating with NEOEA offering a professional development workshop in the Arts, ZeroLandfill(Ed)™ 1.3. Open to anyone interested in project ideas using vinyl wallcovering or wallpaper. We will create three projects, you will have a chance to network with arts professionals and we will send you home with lesson plans and materials for your classroom. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation to take back to their school. Download the registration form and return by October 7.
Your second opportunity is on Saturday, November 12. Part of the Climate Change programming offered through the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, ZeroLandfill(Ed)™ 3.3 will be held by the Science Resource Center at the Museum. This workshop will explore three different materials: fabric, paint and vinyl. We welcome artists, educators, community program managers, occupational therapists among others to this workshop. If you don’t see your job listed here, don’t fret, there is a space at the table for you . The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will provide information about the Resource Center and the Climate Change exhibit, you will have a networking opportunities and each participant will create 3 projects using these diverse materials. Plan to take home your CD with instructions, participation certificate and materials for your classroom. Download the registration form and return by November 2.
